I love teaching piano and watching the lights of musical discovery twinkle in my students’ eyes year after year, as they discover new piano skills and abilities they've dreamed of being able to play. When children discover they can play music on the piano they’ve previously only imagined playing, they are so delighted with themselves. Can you remember the experience of watching and listening to a pianist or a piano teacher play for you? Did it seem so effortless and fun for them that you wondered what it would be like to be able to do that yourself? Children feel the same way! Want to see the twinkle of musical accomplishment in your child’s eyes? You can by giving them the gift of music this Christmas.
